Charlie Owens is an accomplished leader with more than 35 years’ experience in senior management, development, PR & marketing, and executive search in the nonprofit arts industry: symphony orchestras, regional theaters, and fine arts.  As the Senior Development & U.S. Relations Ambassador at Shaw Festival Charlie’s goal is strengthening the U.S. base of support for the Shaw Festival in idyllic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario — one of the world’s leading repertory theatre companies — where unforgettable theatrical encounters are inspired by the spirit of George Bernard Shaw.

As a nonprofit arts executive, Mr. Owens has earned a distinguished reputation in the following areas:
• Demonstrated track record driving growth in contributed and earned revenue through annual giving, memberships, corporate sponsorships, planned gifts, foundation and government grants, subscriptions and single tickets, and special events.
